Red Himalaya is a new variety from Planasa‘s breeding programme. They have succeeded in selecting a strawberry variety for main season in Northern latitudes that is very vigorous with a high yield.
Fruits are very attractive and easy to pick, they are more resistant to rain than other varieties and have their harvest peak slightly after Sonata.
Red Himalaya combines rain and disease tolerance with low cultivation risk, high yield and high picking rates.
